    An introductory session to the online Arts Employability Toolkit, that highlights key factors that you will need to consider in setting yourself up as self-employed.

    The session will include:

    • Exploring why you might want to consider self- employment
    • The positives and negatives
    • Terminology to become familiar with
    • Making decisions on your working practice
    • Creating an action plan

    The Arts Employability Toolkit is a workshop programme designed to address these questions and is open to all recent graduates and final year students on Art, Design, Media and Performing Arts courses in the Faculty of Arts and Creative Industries.  It will go through models of working, legal and financial responsibilities, developing a profile and will support you to plan your future career steps and continual professional development.
