The Strength and Conditioning Student Conference (SCSC) is an annual event that was first held in 2010. The conference has three aims: (1) to provide delegates with presentations that address the latest research and practices within the field of strength and conditioning, (2) provide a platform for which students can show case their work (typically via poster presentations), and (3) make access to experts, both researchers and practitioners, accessible to all by running on a not-for-profit basis.
Each year over 120 delegates attend to listen to four keynote lectures, delivered by strength and conditioning coaches and academics. The list of keynotes to date is shown below:

The conference is priced at £40 per delegate and includes drinks, snacks and a hot lunch. It is based at Middlesex University’s Hendon Campus, which is next to both the underground (Hendon Central, Northern line), overground (Hendon) and the M1 (exit 2).
