As Professor in Cultural Studies, Communication and Media, Feona Attwood has carried out extensive research into new technologies, sexuality and the body. Her recent publications include work on porn audiences, sex advice and makeover culture. She is writing a book Sex Media, working on a special issue of Journal of Gender Studies on ‘Mediated Intimacies’ and editing the Routledge Companion to Media, Sex and Sexuality. She is the co-editor of Sexualities Journal and founding co-editor of the journal Porn Studies. Feona has been the recipient of several grants to develop her work including from the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the Wellcome Trust.
