    • plan a route into employment
    • gain the vital employability skills and experience needed to be successful in the job market
    • secure that dream job at graduation

Through an impressive new Employability Centre located at the heart of the University, you will be able to access professional support in a supportive environment.

Middlesex University in the top ten for graduate salaries

Middlesex has been ranked among the top UK universities for graduate salaries, alongside Oxford and Cambridge, demonstrating how employers recognise the talent and skills of Middlesex graduates. The research report, carried out by the Parthenon Group, demonstrates that Middlesex is better than most UK universities at supporting you to achieve the best salary outcome when you graduate.

Full-time first degree students who graduated in 2012 have achieved some impressive salary outcomes:

    • 31% of students who graduated from our School of Health & Education have achieved a salary in excess of £26k
    • 68% of students who graduated from our School of Science & Technology have achieved a salary in excess of £21k

    Achieving success with our students

Even in this recessionary environment, Middlesex University graduates are proving that with the right degree and the right support they can secure the job they want when they graduate.
Our 2012 graduates have achieved some particularly high employment outcomes:

    • 94% of our graduates who studied on a full-time basis with our School of Health & Education were in work six months after graduation
    • 97% of our graduates who studied on a part-time basis with our School of Media & Performing Arts were in work six months after graduation
    • 90% of our graduates who studied on a part-time basis with our Business School were in work six months after graduation

Further, Middlesex University's School of Health & Education, through its London Sport Institute and in collaboration with the Tottenham Hotspur Foundation, has been short-listed for the first ever beyond London 2012 Awards in the Barclays Employability Award category. This is in recognition of the innovative way in which education has been used in sport to create a positive impact on the employability opportunities for Middlesex University students
