Nominations have closed and nearly forty students have put themselves forward to lead your Students’ Union in 2015/16. Now it’s down to you to decide who to vote for!
Whichever students you elect will lead and direct your Students’ Union, represent your views in university decisions and campaign on issues you care about at Middlesex and beyond, so it’s really important that you vote for candidates you feel will best represent you.
To see who’s running for which positions and find out more about the candidates themselves, head to mdxsu.com/elections/candidates. Click on any candidate’s name to view their manifesto – this essentially tells you who a candidate is, what they want to achieve if elected and why they think you should vote for them.
Voting week opens at 10am on Monday 29 February and closes at midday on Friday 4 March. You can either vote online on your own personal device by heading to mdxsu.com/elections, or alternatively head to any of the four polling stations on campus – in the Quad, the Grove, Hatchcroft and Williams.
During voting week candidates will be out campaigning in force both on campus and online, giving you plenty of opportunity to find out more and even chat to them in person.
All registered MDX students are encouraged to have their say in the elections to ensure that Middlesex Students’ Union is lead by the best students for the job. You’ll be able to vote for the President, the Vice President and School Voice Leader for your school and the part-time positions too. You can read about each of the roles here.
