Enjoy a free Fairtrade tea, coffee or hot chocolate from our stand in the Sheppard Library concourse on May 9th.
After the success of the first Fairtrade coffee morning in the Quad on April 4th and the University being awarded Fairtrade University Status, we are delighted to host a second Fairtrade event with even more to offer.
Hot beverages on offer include Tea, coffee and hot chocolate and it will be the debut of some premium snacks, seen for the first time on campus. Support Middlesex's commitment to Fairtrade, from 9am on Tuesday May 9th in the Sheppard Library.
The University supports fairtrade by supplying Fairtrade products on campus and through our hospitality. Fairtrade is a global movement with a strong and active presence in the UK, represented by the Fairtrade Foundation. Fairtrade is a movement for change that works directly with businesses, consumers and campaigners to make trade deliver for farmers and workers. The international Fairtrade system (which the Fairtrade Foundation is a part of) represents the world's largest and most recognised fair trade system. We are a global organisation working to secure a better deal for farmers and workers.
