The Language and Learning team at Middlesex University has put together an exciting new scheme based on the idea of connecting two people who speak different languages in order to enable them learn from one another.
Known as the Language and Culture Exchange (LCExchange), it aims to help students not only in learning a new language, but also in understanding the customs and traditions of any country of interest.
Once you are paired with another student, the exchange will occur through a friendly conversation (either face to face or online) in a relaxed atmosphere and you and your language partner are expected to be in control of how the partnership will work.
The pairing process is FREE and will be managed by the LCExchange team at Middlesex. There is also a wide variety of support and advice services available for partners to access, ranging from exclusive access to the Language and Culture Exchange social events and access to an online space on MyLearning with a range of materials, resources and suggestions on how to manage your partnership.
Additionally, participants in this scheme will earn a Middlesex University certificate of engagement. Read more here.
*The Language and Culture Exchange is available to students aged 18 and over*
