The Winter ceremony will take place on 13th December 2017 with two ceremonies during the day. Graduates need to be at the venue at least an hour before the ceremony starts to collect their seating card and guest tickets, gown collection and photography. Click here for a map of the venue.
Wednesday 13th December at 10.30am - Nursing programmes to include: Assistant Practitioner, Dementia Care and Practice, European Nursing, Healthcare Practice, Healthcare Studies, Mental Health, Midwifery, Nursing, Social Work, Veterinary Nursing
Wednesday 13th December at 3.30pm - postgraduate taught and research programmes from all faculties
9.00 - 10.30am
Graduates go to Lower Ground Floor to register, collect their seating card and guest tickets from the Westminster Foyer, then go to collect their academic robes from the Aldersgate Room. Any students who are attending without guests can have their photographs taken in the Aldersgate Conservatory.
Guests wait for their graduates in the Library/Lecture Hall on the Level 1. Coats and bags can be taken to the cloakroom in the Broadbent room on the Ground Floor
Graduates meet their guests there once they have robed and then make their way to photography in the Robert Perks/George Thomas Rooms on Level 1.
9.45 – 10.20am
Graduates and Guests take their seats within the hall.
Graduates go to Level 3
Guests to go to Level 4
Ceremony begins with a fanfare and procession.
Vice-Chancellor will close the ceremony and the procession will retire. Graduates will stand and follow the procession on instructions.

Reception with light refreshments available in the Library/Lecture Hall on Level 1

All hired robes to be returned to the Ede and Ravenscroft desk in the Library/Lecture Hall
