  • Community Membership Offer

A great offer for our community members- Just £19.50 per month

Join The Fitness Pod at Middlesex University and rediscover all the things you've been missing. Join our friendly Fitness Pod family and enjoy our imopressive fitness facilities, classes and more, all for just £19.50 per month. Your membership will include access to our Fitness Pod gym, access to our class programme and reduced rates on our outdoor courts and pitches.

How to join

Memberships can be purchased from the Fitness Pod reception in MDX House. Please bring your completed membership form along with a photo ID / student card and your method of payment (credit and debit cards are accepted).

Please download our membership form and terms and conditions as well as our policy of membership.

  • Our membership categories

    • Full Fitness

      This includes anytime use of the gym during opening hours, full access to leisure classes, plus free pitch and court booking at off peak times. You can pay annually or monthly by Direct Debit.

    • Weekend only

      This offer is £12 per month by Direct Debit and includes weekend use of gym and classes only.

    • Pay and Play

      Pay a one off registration fee of £30 and pay a session fee of £6 each time you use the gym or attend a leisure class. Please note this can work out more expensive for regular users.

    • No ties

      Pay £35 for the month and get the Full Fitness membership benefits. Great if you're only on campus for a short time or just want to try the facilities.

    • Competitive sports

      If you're looking to play for one of our many sports teams and don't intend to use any of the fitness facilities then this is the membership for you. Pay £50 for the academic year and get access to our competitive sports training facilities and equipment.

      Competitive sports can be joined at any time during the academic year.

    Our popular classes get booked up quickly and the app is a great way to stay ahead of the game.

  • The Fitness Pod shop

    We offer a range of official Fitness Pod members merchandise and nutritional products including gym bags, towels, padlocks and water bottles as well as protein bars and shakes.

Our treatment clinic

Our Sport and Recreation Service offer a treatment clinic with sessions delivered by qualified practitioners. A wide range of treatments are available and can address ‘aches and pains’ and muscoskeletal problems and injuries. Our treatment interventions include joint mobilisation, postural corrective techniques, kinsio taping, soft tissue manipulation/release, and massage.

  • Personal training

    Don't know how to achieve your fitness goals or need to shake up your current workout routine?

    Our qualified instructors are on hand to help. They'll work with you to design a bespoke workout programme that works for you. They can also training support to help keep you on track.

  • Access for people with disabilities

    We are committed to enabling access to our facilities and to accommodate the needs of disabled users. If you have a disability which you feel may prevent you from making use of a facility or service available, please email our Head of Sport and Recreation, Mel Parker or call 020 8411 5893.

    We will try to accommodate your needs wherever possible.
