All Middlesex University students can now install Microsoft Office365 ProPlus for personal use on up to 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets, and 5 smartphones. You can install and use the software for as long as you are a student at the university.
To install Office, you will need to log in to your university email account on your personal computer – then, click on the Office 365 header near the top left of your email screen. On the next screen you will see an Install Office 2016 link near the top right – click on this link to start downloading and installing Office.
Please note: If the link says Install Software instead of Install Office 2016, please try the alternative link below. After entering your email and following the instructions, within a few minutes you should see the correct Install Office 2016 link in your email account.
After the installation has completed, you may be prompted to activate Office – please sign in with your university email address and password to do so.
You can also use Office apps on your iOS or Android device. You will need to download each software app (Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc.) separately from the App/Play store, and then authenticate by signing in with your university email address and password.

Mac OSX users can install Office for Mac 2016, which includes:
Users of older Mac OSX versions (10.6 and earlier) can install Office for Mac 2011.
