There are two induction sessions held for Postgraduate Research Students during the academic year, one in September and one in January and it is advised that all new students attend their on campus induction.
These sessions aim to welcome new research students to Middlesex University, and provide an introduction to life as a research student.
Students are introduced to support services and resources provided by the university, as well as having the chance to meet key faculty staff members. Induction events also provide a comprehensive overview of the library and Erasmus opportunities, along with an informal lunch where students have the opportunity to meet their supervisory team.
The upcoming sessions for students starting in January 2018 are as below:
For MPhil/PhD, MA/MSc by Research, PhD by Public Works and Arts M/D students, your Induction will take place on Thursday 18th January 2018 at 9.30 in C206 (College Building).
For Professional Doctorate students, your induction will take place on Thursday 22nd February. Online induction sessions will also be taking place prior to this and you will receive details about these via email.
