We recognise that these are uncertain times and the job market is still evolving from recent events which affect us all. Many roles have been placed on hold or unfortunately no longer required. However there are still companies that are recruiting. On this page we will list as many relevant job opportunities as we can to help you bridge that gap.
The number one priority in all of this is your health and the people around you. You should only apply for roles if you feel comfortable doing this. Also make sure you check the official UK Government advice.
Full details of finding immediate work can be found on the MDXworks UniHub pages.
Here are some resources to help you get into a routine and make the most out of your studies. Make sure to check out our Studying from Home page for more advice and guidance.
Everyone has different methods to help them to study and prepare for exams and assessments. We understand how stressful this time can be for some of you, especially during these strange times. Remember, you are not alone and we are all on the same journey!
With this in mind, MDXSU have prepared an online guide to share tips, resources and motivational material to help you manage the assessment period. Download the guide for tips and techniques to help you best perform wherever you're isolating during this time, and keep an eye on the MDXSU website for upcoming activity this academic year
Why not take a break and listen to our Study from Home Spotify playlist! Studying is hard enough, so why not listen to some motivational music in the background. This playlist pulls together a great range of songs to listen to while you're studying - and they're all songs nominated by #TeamMDX.
You can also hear musical talent created by members of #TeamMDX. If you have created a song and it's on Spotify, we'll promote it though the #TeamMDX community playlist. If you would like to be part of this playlist, email the communications team.
Nuala's original song 'Don't let Corona get you down!' has brought us so much joy! Nuala studied Popular Music with us and has since made a living from busking, playing shows and festivals, from gaining management, and joining lots of songwriting sessions.
With her incredibly powerful vocals and a knack for writing unique yet catchy songs, Nuala has been making an impact on the London music scene with her passionate and gutsy performances. She is due to have her debut EP released.
Challenging circumstances provide us all with opportunities to show kindness and compassion and connect with others.
In our community, we have already seen so many examples of people spontaneously coming together to support each other in the past few weeks. We are so proud to belong to such an interconnected, diverse and kind community.
