Our mood and activity levels are closely linked and it’s vital that we continue to look after both our mental and physical health. Breaking up your study day with some activities is a great way to achieve this balance.

You’ll learn how to look after your wellbeing and mental health, how to support a friend who might be struggling, learn how to stay well in light of Covid-19 and be signposted to university and SU resources and support. You can start the course and come back to it at any time.
Join our MDX student community for beginner’s Iyengar Yoga with MDX Lecturer and Iyengar Yoga teacher, Joanna. These sessions are designed specifically to work on your flexibility, stress levels and to help you to feel part of #TeamMDX. You just need a space to stretch and some comfy clothes.

The Counselling and Mental Health (CMH) service are offering online “Connect & Support Groups”. The aim of the groups will be to offer support to those struggling with feelings of isolation, loneliness, diminishing resilience, anxiety and uncertainty. You'll be able to connect with others who may be experiencing similar difficulties or having similar feelings.

MDXworks has moved completely online but are still able to support you during this financially uncertain time.
During these uncertain times, MDXworks are currently hosting drop-in sessions remotely Monday to Friday, 10:00 - 16:00 via phone on 0208 411 6161 or by emailing the MDXWorks team.
For more support, join MDXworks weekly pop up sessions every Tuesday and Thursday at 1pm for tips and advice.

Challenging circumstances provide us all with opportunities to show kindness and compassion and connect with others.
