MDX students enjoy free rugby game at Allianz Park

06/02/2015

Middlesex University students were treated to a 10 try thriller as South  African giants' Blue Bulls beat Saracens 26-39 to lift the Sanlam challenge shield.

Over 200 complimentary tickets were made available to Middlesex Students courtesy of Saracens RFC. The Students took full advantage of the generous drink deals made available to them and experienced a brilliant day out.

The atmosphere at Allianz park was electrifying. Each try scored by Saracens was met with huge cheers and applause. It was a very tense and exciting encounter, Saracens put up a brave fight but came out second best to an impressive Blue Bulls Side.  Great sportsmanship was shown at the end of the game as the entire stadium was on their feet when the Blue Bulls lifted the Sanlam challenge shield. This was a fantastic opportunity for Middlesex students to go and see rugby being played at the highest standard free of charge.

The links between Middlesex and Saracens is an invaluable one and is growing stronger all the time. Middlesex thanks Saracens for this opportunity and welcomes more tickets to future games. Saracens would like to thank the students for contributing to the superb atmosphere and are sure Saracens RFC will come out on top next time!
