Do you have an innovative business idea or start-up business of less than 2 years old?
The Entrepreneurial Barnet Competition, organised by Middlesex University, Barnet Council, Barnet and Southgate College, and Brent Cross, offers local entrepreneurs and students the opportunities to:
showcase their ideas
be coached by business experts
win cash prizes

Prizes
The prizes available are divided into the following four categories:
Barnet residents with a business idea or business start-up of less than 2 years old
Middlesex University undergraduate students
Middlesex University postgraduate students and recent alumni
Barnet and Southgate College student
The four prize winners will then go head to head in a business pitch at Hammersons head office in London with a change of winning a further cash prize to kick start their career.
How to enter
The first stage of the competition is The Pitching Stage. Here, you will have two minutes to pitch your business idea to three independent judges. The successful applicants will receive a golden ticket and go through the the next stage - submitting a business model canvas. You will receive monitoring and support from business experts during this stage.
