The first ever MDXSU Summer Fest took place at Middlesex University last Wednesday 18th May, attracting almost one thousand summer-ready guests.
Despite the summer-themed festival unfortunately coinciding with some typically British weather, the intermittent drizzle didn't put off the hundreds of students who turned out in force for the cross-campus event.
The huge party was organised by Middlesex University Students' Union to celebrate the end of exams and mark the end of the academic year for many Middlesex students.
The MDXSU Summer Fest was headlined by London r&b trio and 1Xtra favourites WSTRN, who pumped up a huge MDX House crowd with a set including their hit single In2, which reached number four in the UK charts last November.
The line-up also included talented Middlesex student DJs, bands and singers who played in both the huge inflatable Igloo Tent and on the main MDX House stage: The Jack Danielles, Daliya Nava, Alex Benjamin, Danielle Temeng, Andrea Vazquez, Helen Rupp, Paddy Kellaway, Michael Hussey, Silver Supreme and DJ Prince.
