    Improvements over the last year

    While you’ve been away…

    MDX won Fairtrade award

Middlesex University has been awarded for its commitment to supporting and using Fairtrade products. On 20th June 2018, Middlesex University became the first of 12 universities in the UK to receive a Fairtrade award under the new scheme criteria that was introduced in September 2017. The scheme was the result of a collaborative effort between the Fairtrade Foundation and the National Union of Students.

Out of the 12 universities awarded, Middlesex was 1 of 5 that got the highest level award of 2 Stars, which is a fantastic achievement.

    New environmentally friendly printers

As part of our continued campus improvements, new printers were installed throughout July that are more environmentally friendly. These printers will continue to offer free printing for students.

Over the course of the last 12 months, a new daily drop-in service for students has been rolled out. From this some students may be referred for further support and some are able to have their issues managed in one session.
