    Sunny Hill House Gardens redevelopment

As part of our ongoing investment into the quality of students' experience and wellbeing at Middlesex University, the gardens behind Sunny Hill House are being redeveloped and landscaped into a secluded and quiet contemplation space this summer.

Sunny Hill House provides a discrete location for all students to seek advice and support about their wellbeing, so this work will provide a fantastic outdoor space on where the sensory stimulation and experience of a garden environment will support staff and student wellbeing.

From September 2017, there will be many opportunities for students and staff not only to visit but to take part in looking after the new garden space – using the process of gardening as a tool to improve wellbeing.

The greenhouse and its surrounding borders will also be used to support botanical student research.

The work to develop these new garden spaces has started and will continue until Friday 7th August, but access to Sunny Hill House and all University wellbeing services will continue as normal during this time.

The Counselling & Mental Health team provide mental wellbeing support and a confidential individual counselling service to help you manage any challenges affecting you emotionally or psychologically that you might face while you study with us.

For general enquiries and information you can contact the Counselling & Mental Health Team at: or find more information on our UniHub pages.
