Antisocial behaviour in local area

20/09/2019
A reminder to students about behaving respectfully as part of the local community

As an ambassador for the University, you are expected to behave in a way that enhances the reputation of the University and of its students and graduates. It has been brought to our attention that there’s been a rise in antisocial behaviour – including drug use, littering and other types of criminal activity - in the local area.

Not only does such behaviour go against the student conduct regulation and student charter, a criminal conviction could seriously damage an individual’s future career prospects and success. We want all our students to reach their full potential here at MDX.

It’s also so important that as a community, we continue to respect our neighbours, maintaining the valuable links and relationships we’ve developed with local residents

We understand that being a student can be stressful and would urge anyone that’s going through a tough time to reach out to the University’s support services.

If you have any questions regarding anti-social behaviour or what is expected of you as a student, please email communications@mdx.ac.uk
