Commuter Student Focus Group

MDXSU is conducting a research project to get commuter student voices heard and find the best ways for you to get the most out of your time at university

Commuting to university can make a big difference to your experience as a student, yet commuter students are often an unheard group. The Students' Union seeks to change that.

This research will inform the support available for commuters in the future and we want you to be a part of it. Your insight is vital for us to best help you overcome potential barriers to education as a commuter.

Alongside our Communities Survey, we are organising a few focus groups to explore the views and experience of commuter students in more depth. We are facilitating these on the following dates (note that times are a guide, it's unlikely to take the full two hours):

  • Wednesday 20th March, 14:30 to 16:30 in C207
  • Thursday 21st March, 10:00 to 12:00 in C205
  • Wednesday 27th March, 11:00 to 13:00 in CG06

If you are interested in taking part in a focus group, please complete this form.

Refreshments will be provided and you will be given a £5 Amazon voucher and free pizza as a thank you for your time.

If you have any further questions about the project, please contact communities@mdxsu.com.
