The services will be closed on 5th September
The Counselling and Mental Health Service and Disability and Dyslexia Service will be closed on Thursday 5th September 2019.
If you are experiencing emotional distress and believe that you are at risk of harm to self or others, please visit your nearest Accident and Emergency service at a local hospital.
If you are on campus and are emailing with concern about, or as a student in psychological and emotional distress and need support, you can call for a Designated Safeguarding Officer on 0208 411 6200 (X16200 on campus). If this is not an emergency please email cause4concern@mdx.ac.uk with your referral.
If you are not on campus and are experiencing emotional distress and would like to speak to someone, the following services are able to provide support:
SANE Helpline www.sane.org.uk/what_we_do/support/helpline Tel: 0300 304 7000 Operates 7 days a week 6:00pm to 11:00pm. - a national out-of-hours telephone helpline offering emotional support and information for people affected by mental health problems.
Papyrus Hopeline:0800 068 4141 (for under 35 year olds)
