We are proud to launch the Emerging Professional Programme - a flexible, extra-curricular suite of interactive online and face-to-face activities designed exclusively for each year group that develops both personal and professional skills and attributes sought by employers – helping you to stand out from the crowd.
Upon completion of your Emerging Professional Programme, you will receive a digital certificate referencing the skills and experience gained – a valuable addition to your CV and LinkedIn profile.
Okay – so what do I have to do?
We have designed each programme with the flexibility to be completed either fully online or in a blended mode that includes offline components; 1:1 support and dedicated workshops.
The Year 1 programme: (‘Unpacking Opportunities’) and Year 2 programme (‘The Power of Networking’) open on 7th February and will be available for approximately 6 weeks. For those opting to complete their programme solely online, we estimate you will need to set aside approximately 2-3 hours per week to complete the programme. For those opting for the blended F2F / online programme – in addition to the online resources, you will be invited to attend the programme introduction sessions, dedicated workshops, final programme sessions and to access 1:1 support from the MDXworks advisers.
The year 3 programme: (‘Application Boost’) is a blend of tailored online resources, a programme of dedicated workshops running through February-March and of course continued access to 1:1 support from the MDXworks advisers.
Year 1: Unpacking Opportunities:
This will focus on supporting you to research, identify and unpack career opportunities available that match your subject of study and personal interests – enabling you at this early stage of your studies to gain invaluable insight into the wider range of career options open to you with your degree.

The aim of this interactive programme will be to develop awareness of the various networking opportunities across specific sectors and how these can be accessed and engaged in by you to enhance your employer networks, potential opportunities and simply meet new people! We will work with you to develop your networking skills and confidence in articulation of skills, experience and aspirations.
You will gain:

Being ‘application-ready’ is vital as you transition from study into the world of work. The ‘Application Boost’ programme is an intensive series of exclusive workshops, 1:1 support and online resources. This will support you in building confidence in your articulation of skills, experience and aspirations in preparation for the variety of application processes that employers engage. The online components will include psychometric testing tools; job searching tools and skills assessment options.
You will gain:
