The MDXAdvantage programme launching in January 2020 provides a dedicated support package for all undergraduate students in the final year of study with a keen interest in career navigation and maximising employability.
MDXworks is our careers & employability service. The team have dedicated Faculty Employability Advisers for all departments on campus, and offer 1:1 and workshop guidance to help you to achieve your graduate goals.
MDXworks also advertise a whole range of graduate opportunities, via their employability portal, mdxworks.com whilst additionally arranging multiple events throughout the year where you can meet employers in person.
For those of you willing to commit the time to a dedicated and ongoing schedule (over a 6 month period),
the MDXAdvantage programme will offer:
You will be able to connect with your assigned mentor on a monthly basis and take part in a mixture of on-campus and online activities every 2 weeks. These will be timetabled once enrolled.
MDXworks will aim to accommodate many of the activities around your studies, with a reduced timetable over the exam period.
Finalists who complete the programme will receive a certificate of recognition that demonstrates your #MDXadvantage and real life examples that you can share with future recruiters.
Is this for you?
- Are you a current final year undergraduate student at MDX (including those returning from a placement year)?
- Do you have a desire to secure a graduate job / place on a graduate scheme upon completion of study?
- Are you able to commit to a frequent timetable of support between January 2020 and July 2020?
To really benefit from the programme, it is important that you give continued commitment.
Missing sessions / not completing activities will result in removal from the programme and your place will be given to a fellow applicant.
