Professor Tim Blackman will be stepping down from his role as Middlesex University’s Vice-Chancellor to take up a new post as Vice-Chancellor of The Open University.
Commenting on his time as Vice-Chancellor, Professor Tim Blackman said:
“I have had four amazing years at Middlesex University and I’ve been inspired by the remarkable students and the hard work and dedication of staff.
Middlesex is one of the most diverse universities in the sector, and what has been so apparent to me is how this diversity helps students learn and achieve more. Middlesex graduates have the outlook and vision that many employers are crying out for."
The University is now starting to search for a new Vice-Chancellor for Middlesex University. Interim arrangements will ensure the day-to-day running of the University, including student support services, continue as normal.
