Students are encouraged to tidy up after themselves and respect the local community
We were really disappointed to hear from a member of the local community today that some of you have been leaving rubbish on the street where you’ve parked your car. This has included half-eaten takeaways and other packaging. Some of the areas concerned include Tenterden Gardens and Johns Avenue.
As an ambassador for the University, you are expected to behave in a way that enhances the reputation of the University and all of its students and graduates. The above behaviour goes against the student conduct regulation and is simply not an acceptable way to behave.
We understand that this can be a really stressful time of the year with exam and assessment deadlines looming – but it’s so important that we continue to respect our neighbours, maintaining the valuable links and relationships we’ve developed with local residents.
If you have any questions regarding parking or what is expected of you as a student, please email communications@mdx.ac.uk
