Join us in an exciting event as part of the Fairtrade Fortnight (21st Feb – 6th Mar)! We have a fantastic opportunity to meet a Cocoa Farmer via Zoom.
Bismark Kpabitey is a cocoa farmer from the Kuapa Kokoo Farmers Union in Ghana. Bismark’s parents and grandparents were cocoa farmers, so he grew up learning about cocoa. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration Human Resource Management. After his studies he returned to farming. He has lived in the community he lives in now for 12 years, and started his own cocoa farm in 2017.
Bismark attended COP26 in Glasgow in 2021 as part of the Fairtrade delegation to raise awareness of the difficulties faced by small producers around the world, and the urgent need of climate finance to assist small farmers to adapt their practices. He became a bit of a celebrity at COP!
This webinar will take place on the 28th February between 4-5pm
