Running from 5 June to 9 July 2023, the programme is structured to provide flexible, interactive online and face-to-face activities that align with the skills and competencies sought by employers. By participating in the Emerging Professional Programme, you will develop the career readiness that employers value, setting yourself apart from the competition.
One of the key highlights of the programme is the Industry Sessions, scheduled for the first two weeks of June. These sessions are organized into five industry pathways including Creative; STEM; Business; Law; Public Sector, Psychology and Social Sciences. Regardless of your field of study, you can explore any pathway that interests you. With three sessions per pathway, you will have a total of fifteen engagement opportunities to expand your knowledge and network with professionals in your desired industry.
Following the Industry Sessions, the Feedback and Evaluation Day is dedicated to reflecting on your learnings, strengths, and suitability for the industry project challenge. During this day, you will engage in group exercises, presentations and mock interviews, preparing you for real-world scenarios and boosting your confidence.
Finally, the programme culminates in the exciting real-world Project Challenge. A select number of students who qualify during the Feedback and Evaluation Day will have the chance to participate in this one-week challenge. This experience will put your skills to the test as you tackle real-world projects, further enhancing your problem-solving abilities, teamwork, and creativity.
