You're invited to an exclusive event for international students on Tuesday 13 February, between 11am and 2pm in the Quad, for an immersive day with exciting activities, from networking opportunities and interactive storytelling about international job searches to a captivating Entrepreneurship Myth-Busters Challengeupskilling opportunities and invaluable insights from our accomplished global alumni during a thought-provoking panel discussion.

This event is more than just an exploration of global careers; it's a celebration of a global community shaping the future.

Storytelling + finding a job in 15
11am to 11.30am

Join this interactive session to hear stories from our community of international students about their experiences finding their feet in the UK and establishing a career path. In a fun, supportive, open-mic format, hear their success storieschallenges they’ve faced, and everything in between! This will be followed by some top tipsjob search strategies, and complementary tools to give yourself the best chance of finding work in the UK and beyond.

Entrepreneurs Myth Busters Challenge
11.30am to 11.45am

Put your investigative hat on and shatter misconceptions about what it takes to run or support a growing business. By engaging in fun rounds of Two Truths and One Lie, you'll unravel the secrets of successful innovative thinking and break down misconceptions about what it means to have an entrepreneurial mindset. Join us to connect with like-minded peers and find out more about start-up or freelance support at MDX.

LEGO Networking Activity
11.45am to 12.15pm

Embark on a truly unique and career-oriented journey with our Global Opportunities activity designed to connect students not only with potential job opportunities but also with international career paths, summer schools abroad, and volunteering experiences. Dive into a world where LEGO becomes the medium for building not just structures, but also global connections and diverse career possibilities.

Join us for a captivating Panel Discussion featuring our distinguished alumni sharing their unique journeys and perspectives on the essence of a global citizen. And the career advisors from Hendon, Dubai and Mauritius campuses will also providing valuable tips. Embark with us on a journey into a rich selection of experiences, gaining valuable insights and inspiration from the diverse paths taken by our alumni and tips offered by our dedicated career advisors.
