Apply to Santander Universities Black Inclusion Programme to win free access to 8-hours of online trending financial topics & the opportunity to win a £1,500 Santander Scholarship

Santander Universities UK’s mission is to support students from diverse backgrounds into university, work and self-employment. Collaborating with a large network of university partners, we have spent over ten successful years removing barriers to higher education and, in turn, providing life changing opportunities to students from across the UK.

  • The programme is exclusively for Black and Black mixed Undergraduate students / recent graduates (graduating in the academic year 2019-2020) in the UK
  • There will be 3,000 opportunities available. Places will be randomly allocated
  • The programme will be run entirely online in collaboration with Finance Unlocked, an on-demand video-delivered learning platform built specifically for finance professionals and will consist of 8 hours of on-demand content focused on a range of trending financial topics including green finance, blockchain, private equity, and debt capital finance. Participants will be able to enhance their financial skills through videos and access to real-life case studies
  • Upon completion of the 8-hours content and online assessments participants will receive a digital certificate and all who score 80% or more will also have the opportunity to win one of 30 £1,500 Santander Scholarships. The 30 winning students will be randomly selected from all who score 80% and above
  • All participants who opt in will also be kept informed of any potential employment opportunities within the Bank including the Santander Graduate Scheme and internship opportunities
  • The programme will launch on the Santander Scholarship Platform (Becas) on 10 January 2021 and applications close on 5 March 2021. The 3,000 successful applicants will be announced on 12 March 2021
  • The online programme for the 3,000 successful applicants will launch on 30 March and run for 6 weeks (until 9 May). Applicants can complete the programme in their own time across the 6 week period but must complete the full 8 hours of content and associated assessments by 9 May in order to be considered for one of the £1,500 scholarships (subject to receiving an average score of 80% or more).
