December is typically a time of rest, reflection at the year we are leaving behind and hopes for the year ahead. It's also a time where we celebrate respective cultural holidays such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa and many others. These holidays represent the celebration of life, family and love. As this season of heightened cheer and celebration comes around, feelings of loneliness can quickly develop into more serious mental health issues such as depression.
Mindful Healthcare is working with students in the UK to bring you an event that tackles this stigmatised issue and offers a guide to get you through the festive season.
