    Book your place at MDXworks' first ever CareerConnect!

    CareerConnect is open to all students / graduates, all year groups, from all schools / courses, as we will be welcoming organisations from various sectors, including; Law, Arts & Creative Industries, Science & Technology, Finance & more!

    CareerConnect Overview

    • 10.00 – 12.00 Industry insight talks: Guest employers, including Darlingtons Solictors, Cyber Duck and Creative Access will talk about their work experience and placement opportunities, internships and ‘taster’ days in the MDXworks networking tent.
    • 12.00 – 1.30: Application boot-camp with KPMG: Get support with your application and find out what KPMG look for, from an ideal candidate (Location TBC)
    • 1.30: Break
    • 2.00 – 4.00: Industry insight talks: More guest employers, including IKEA, Civil Service Fast Stream, & KPMG will talk about their graduate schemes and vacancies, plus what organisations look for in an ideal graduate candidate (in the MDXworks networking tent)
    • 4.00 – 5.00: Networking meet-up with food and drink: A chance to meet industry professionals and grow your network of useful connections. Open to students and employers (on the first floor Mezzanine)

    Throughout the day, MDXworks will also be running a mock assessment centre, CV checking service, psychometric test practice, career clinics, and more!

    Feature talks and opportunities from KPMG, Civil Service Fast Stream, Creative Access and more to be announced.

    The first 100 students to sign up to CareerConnect will receive a LinkedIn portrait photograph, taken in our Employability Centre.
