The Strength and Conditioning Student Conference (SCSC) is an annual event that was first held in 2010.
The conference has three aims:
Talk 1. Inter-limb Asymmetries: Calculating Differences, Effects on Athletic Performance, and Methods to Reduce Imbalances
Talk 2. Who, What, How – Plan, Deliver, Review: A Framework for Decision-Making in S&C Coaching
Talk 3. Title: Optimising force plate assessment of vertical jumping in team-sports
Talk 4. Performance planning in Paralympic sport: Science, practice and the skills in between
Talk 5. Measuring Force, Velocity and Power in Jumping and Sprinting: new concepts, new methods, new perspectives Price: £40 including hot lunch and post conference drinks to celebrate our 10th Anniversary Address: Middlesex University, The Burroughs, Hendon, London, NW4 4BT Travel links: 5 min walk from Hendon Underground (Northern line) and Over ground (Themeslink), and 1 mile from M1, exit 2.
