If you need a Tier 4 student visa to study in the UK, you should now have received your CAS (or will be receiving it very shortly). The next step is to use this CAS to make your visa application.
You can find video guides to completing your visa application here.
When your visa application is successful, you will be issued with a sticker (vignette) in your passport which will be valid for 30 days. You must travel to the UK during this 30 day period, otherwise you will have to apply (and pay) for a new vignette. We recommend that you do not make any travel arrangements until you have received your vignette.
When you arrive in the UK you will then need to collect your Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) within 10 days. The BRP is your official visa and will be valid for the duration of your course.
During the visa application process, you will be asked where you want to collect your BRP. The easiest option is to have it sent directly to the University, so it is ready for collection at UniHelp when you arrive. In order to ensure your BRP is delivered to the University, you will need to enter the code 2HE387 under 'Alternative Collection'.
