Middlesex is now ranked as the top modern University in London

23/09/2016
Middlesex University London has leaped eleven places to 74th in the latest Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2017 rankings.

The main factor for this improved score is Middlesex’s graduate employment rate, which has increased by over five percent since last year.

Professor Tim Blackman, Middlesex University Vice-Chancellor said: “We’re delighted by Middlesex University’s dramatic rise in the latest rankings which highlights the successful impact of our student centred approach.

“I’m particularly pleased to see the rise in our students’ graduate-level employability results. At Middlesex we put our students first and provide the tools required for successful future careers.

“As an ambitious University we empower our diverse population of students to succeed with their goals by creating a collaborative environment where everyone can learn together and achieve their full potential.”

The rankings list 128 universities on student satisfaction, graduate prospects, completion rates, student to staff ratio, research quality, entry standards, good honours as well as services and facilities spend.

Last week, Middlesex was listed for the first time as one of the top 600 universities in the world by Times Higher Education in their respected World University Rankings. Completing a hat trick of league table successes this week, the University also debuted in QS’s Top 100 Universities under 50 years old.
