Students' Union Societies and Liberation Assemblies

"Being an active member of a student group empowers you to use your time at university to build yourself – to be the person you want to be, to find what motivates you, to learn about yourself, and become so much more. This is the place where you can challenge yourself and have utterly invaluable experiences, gain recognition for your achievements and then learn how to articulate them to friends, family, employers - and vitally, to yourself."

Student groups are a great way of meeting like-minded people, discovering new interests and building a community at Middlesex University.

Middlesex Students' Union supports a wide range of different student Societies, which cover everything from general interest and hobbies, to course-based Societies and religious and cultural groups. If you've got a great idea for something new, MDXSU will give you all the support and financial help you need to get started - visit for more information.

MDXSU also oversees four Liberation Assemblies for students who face oppression and discrimination.
