Choosing the right resources or software for your project or piece of coursework can be bewildering; learning how to use it can be time consuming; evaluating the results of your searches can be confusing.  We can help you save time and make the right choices for your particular needs.

We aim to provide support where and when you need it. Our Librarians and IT specialists are available to provide expert advice both within your Library and across your campus every day. We also run a series of training sessions throughout the year on using particular resources and on understanding referencing and plagiarism.

At the start of your course we will give you essential information about the Library.  We then arrange with your lecturers to come back into your classes to provide additional support at key points during the rest of your course.

Please also make use of the following support:

    • Have a look at the Library Subject Guide for your area of study
    • Ask your Librarian for help / advice at Ask a Librarian
    • Make a booking to attend a Library Workshop or for a 1-1 appointment with your  Specialist Librarian
