Guidance for testing positive/feeling unwell

If you test positive, please report it using this link

If you feel unwell with symptoms of a respiratory illness, please do stay at home and try to avoid contact with others. If you need to attend campus, try to test first to make sure it isn’t Covid. If you absolutely must attend campus, you should take extra precautions – try to travel outside of busy times, wear a face covering, keep a distance from others, hands/face/space.

If you are concerned about vulnerabilities before attending campus, please check your COVID age using this tool. If you have a long-term health condition, ensure that you register with the Disability and Dyslexia Service.

Government advice for testing positive

If you test positive for Covid, the Government advises that you stay away from busy spaces for 5 days. Therefore if you test positive you are required to stay off campus for a minimum of 5 days. You can return after 5 days as long as you are feeling fully recovered. If you still feel unwell, you should remain off campus.
