Fika is an emotional fitness app and is available for free for MDX students. Your emotional fitness, much like your physical fitness, is something that can improve with practice. Fika works to develop your emotional fitness by developing your soft skills such as confidence, resilience, adaptability and acceptance while improving focus, social connection and empathy.
Fika is inspired by Scandinavian culture and is built on an evidence-base of self-reflection through journaling and peer-to-peer support. Aligned with the 2019 NICE evidence standards for digital health technologies, Fika also draws on scientific evidence from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and Positive Psychology to build emotional fitness.
