    POW! FM live in MDX House

    12pm - 2pm

    MDX House DJ Booth

    Share your great taste in music and try out DJ'ing in front of a live audience - join POW! FM on the decks in MDX House.

    Nothing beats playing a live set infront of adoring fans! Come along to the live POW! FM session in MDX House and experience it for yourself in this taster session.

    Access Centre Coffee Morning

    10.30am - 11.30am

    Access Centre in the Sheppard Library

    Do you want the chance to win an iPad? Do you want to find out what support is available through DSA? Come along to one of our Access Centre Coffee Mornings, meet our specialists, check out the equipment and software you might be able to get through DSA. We will answer all your queries, help you fill in your DSA applications and explain the whole process to you.

    Free event designed for students who may need support of the Access Centre including,  but not limited to, students who have disabilities, SpLD's or medical conditions

    Think Well, Live Well Workshop

    11am  - 12.30pm

    Sunny Hill House

    Get to know other students in an informal, small-group atmosphere. This workshop will equip you with tips and tools to not just survive university life, but to thrive! Refreshments provided.Free event to all students, To register email: counselling@mdx.ac.uk

    Radio Taster Session with POW! FM11am - 1pm

    Pow Radio Station next to MDX House

    Do you have a voice for radio? Check out our revamped digital radio station and find out how to host your own radio show on campus.

    This is great opportunity to try out student radio. Come along to our revampted radio station where we will teach you all you need to know. And before long you will be presenting like a pro - broadcasting to anyone who will listen.

    Free event for everyone. No previous experience needed.
    Re-launch of #FreePeriod

    9am - 5pm

    All over Campus

    A relaunch of our #FreePeriods project which allows you to come and get free tampons, pads and mooncups from the Students' Union! Come and find out about the campaign and get some freebies.All female students and women's liberation groups are welcome
    Open Mic and Poetry Slam

    8pm - 12am

    MDX House

    Are you a poet, comedian, guitarist, singer or even a trumpet player? Come down to our open mic night and poetry slam to showcase your talents. Featuring live acts as well as set times for open mic!

    Magazine Design Taster Session with POW! Mag

    11am - 1pm

    MDX House POW Media Suite

    Want to get creative? Bring a story to life using Adobe Indesign and design your very own magazine spread.

    Our POW! Media Suite is lined up and ready for your creative juices! This taster session will give a quick guide on how you can take some an ordinary article and bring it to life using Adobe Indesign. So if you are a designer, or a writer that wants to have creative control, this taster is for you.

    Free event with no previous experience required
    RAG Pub Quiz8pm - 11pm

    The Claddagh Ring

    Middlesex Raise & Give Society (RAG) host a weekly pub quiz at the Claddagh Ring, with all profits going to charity.

    Expect hilarious questions and ridiculous answers, with some challenging topics as well. A great way to meet new people or have a relaxed evening with your friends.

    Mix 'N' Blend10pm - 2am

    MDX House

    Join the finest student DJ talent for the last party of Freshers' - Mix 'N' Blend with POW! FM!

    Mix 'N' Blend is a hugely popular Freshers' night back for it's third year, featuring POW! and society DJs bringing a mix of floor-filling genres to MDX House.

    This event is free for Welcome Wristband and Annual Events Pass holders. Individual advance tickets cost £5.

    Please note: Welcome Wristbands and Annual Event Passes only guarantee entry prior to 11.30pm.

    Revisit the many fantastic services available at Middlesex and found out about the latest changes. Meet and chat with MDXWORKS, the Library, Learner Enhancement Team, Progression Officers, MDX Sports, Alumni team, MDXSU and many more.

    A workshop to help you understand and manage the process of change as you start a new chapter of life.

    New place. New people. New chapter. Starting university can be an exciting time and lots of fun, but it can also be really stressful! Meet other students who are also starting at Middlesex. Find out about how to manage the challenges of change and share your expertise too. Refreshments provided.

    TV & Film Crew Taster Session with POW! TV

    Whether you're a budding presenter or prefer being behind the camera, find out how to put your skills to good use with POW! TV.

    This world of TV is just waiting for you to get invovled. Come try your hand at presenting, filming or editing with POW TV. Our green screen is just waiting for you to get infront of the camera.
