To ensure that you can get a hot meal when coming to campus, we are serving free breakfasts and dinners twice a week from the hot food counter in the Quad.
Want to know what's available or looking for something in particular?
Our cafes and eateries are usually open between 9.00 to 5.00pm Monday to Friday but some operate at different times throughout the year
Knowing exactly what you're eating is important especially if you have an allergy or intolerance. That's why we label all allergen information on our non-packaged food and drinks.
It is also available on request in the Catering Office or you can speak to a member of staff at any of our outlets.
We cater for the following dietary requirements across the majority of our eateries:
Make sure to check the food map for where the best places are for you.
Check the Food Standards Agency for more information about food allergies and intolerance's.
If you have any particular dietary requirements or concerns, please contact Executive Chef Gerry Vincent by calling 0208 411 5770

Eating healthy is good for the body and the mind. When you're on campus, you can be sure you'll be getting a great quality, nutritious meal which also supports a sustainable environment.
Our chefs use market research and student surveys to create menus that are healthy and delicious. We also adhere to guidelines of key government departments such as the Department of Health and Defra to maintain a high quality of food on offer.
We're helping to create a healthy community for everyone on campus by making sure you're getting balanced snacks and meals that taste good too.
Ask a member of staff at any outlet for more information about the nutrition and calorie content of our recipes.
In a bid to promote good health and wellbeing we will also be providing nutritional talks to students throughout the first term. It’s essential to maintain good health and wellbeing when it comes both physical and mental.
You will be able to book to attend these talks via the Uni Food Hub App and by following Middlesex Uni Food on Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook you will receive tips on how to main good health whilst studying at Middlesex University.
We know that where our food comes is as important to our staff and students as how it tastes. We strive to use ethical and sustainable products wherever we can and source local, fresh and seasonal food as often as possible.

We want to make sure our campus is as clean and environmentally sustainable as it can be so we've made a number of changes in our food outlets. In selected outlets, we now only provide biodegradable cutlery and paper straws, we've installed refilling water fountains across campus and we also introduced a 5p cup levy on single use cups with a 20p discount if you use a reusable coffee cup.
Did you know?
From October 21 to July 2022 the water fountains have been used over 160,000 times, we've sold 650 reusable cups and with the 20p discount, students have saved over £2,000. We sold over 6,000 bottles of LIFE Water. We gave back £4,300 for sustainable projects to the university for your 5p cup charge.
As a student, we encourage you to be active in our campus' sustainability and environmental care. One of our students, Maggie Davies, has played an important role in further promoting plastic reduction on campus and we welcome your comments and suggestions for other ideas and campaigns.
Throughout the academic year, you can look forward to a series of events, campaigns and pop-up stalls such as:
