MDXcelerator is here to support you with understanding entrepreneurship and the world of start-ups, building a business idea or joining forces on developing an existing one, writing your business plan, taking steps towards defining an MVP, and meeting potential co-founders. You will also have the chance to win prize money and work with mentors on launching your business into the market.

Explore your entrepreneurial journey with MDXcelerator, designed to empower Middlesex University students and recent graduates like you. We adapt to your needs, providing flexible, accessible support throughout your academic journey.

Our aim is to break entry barriers for those unsure of what being a start-up funder is like, who are held back by a lack of social or financial resources, as well as offer guidance to those who need support in developing and launching their ideas onto the market.

MDXcelerator opens as a year-long service, offering you exciting events, pitching challenges, training, and seed funding opportunities. You can also access online resources, 1:1 support, and collaborative spaces to aid in your journey.

  • BarNET ZERO Challenge for a sustainable future

    Submit your idea by 29 November

    You could win a £5,000 top prize in the competition as part of Barnet Council's ambitions to become net zero by 2030. Successful participants will be able to attend workshops to develop their idea, showcase their projects to a panel of experts, receive funding and prizes.

  • MDXcelerator International Pitching Challenge

    Submit your business canvas for a chance to be selected for the big MDXcelerator start-up pitching competition, where you could win £7,000 to put towards your business funding. If you are selected, you will attend an in-person, 5 min business pitch challenge, where a panel of judges will select the top 3 to attend the MDXcelerator International Pitching Challenge.
