Free social sports activities on campus

October -  December 2020

Our Sport and Recreation team are offering students a range of social sports opportunities. Activities are open to all students, but you must book in advance. This is especially important under the current COVID-19 situation.

Our sports facilities are part of the NHS Track & Trace system so you must scan in when you first arrive as well as complete the COVID-19 declaration, confirming you're free from any coronavirus symptoms before you attend the session.

If you would like to make a booking or have any questions, please get in touch with the sports office. If you would like to play sport with friends in any of the social sports slots listed below, we can help you to ensure that when you come to play, you are following the relevant guidelines.

Give it a go

Want to try something new? Keen to master another sport? Join our Give it a Go programme and learn a sport from the very beginning.

We have a variety of sports and activities you can choose from including tennis, cheerleading and boxing. Our sport sessions take place once a week over 6 to 8 weeks (depending on the sport) and you'll be introduced to the sport, learn the basics, and get coaching to help improve your skills. Sessions are £20 per activity.

Some sessions are taught off campus and we provide a free minibus service to help get you there.

To register for an activity, please email Danielle Norville or head to Sports Office in MDX House.
