Information on guest tickets, extra tickets and refunds.

    • Guest Tickets

      • How Many Tickets Can I Have?

Two guest tickets at £30 each can be booked by the deadline of 4pm on 22nd June. Tickets are not transferable to future ceremonies and tickets can be cancelled online up to 4pm on  29th June . No refunds are offered after this date for graduates or guests that do not turn up on the day of the ceremony.

      • Do Children Need a Ticket?

Children over the age of 5 are allowed into the ceremony, but you must purchase a ticket for them to attend.  Children under the age of five with other guests are able to watch via the lecture theatres in CG76 and CG77.  Tickets are free of charge but must be booked for Health and Safety reasons.  We reserve the right to refuse admission to children we believe to be under the age of five even if they have a ticket.

      • How do I get my tickets?

Tickets can be collected from registration in the Grove Atrium on the day of your ceremony. You must bring photo ID and your confirmation email as proof of your registration to collect your tickets. Lost tickets will not be replaced or reimbursed.

      • Refunds

Refunds on guest tickets can be made up to 4pm on 29th June  by going on-line and cancelling your booking. After this date refunds can not be made if you decide not to attend.

Refunds can not be made if your guests do not turn up or can not make the ceremony. If you or your guest requires a visa and the visa is refused you must cancel your tickets online by 4pm on 29th December.

If you are ill on the day of your ceremony and can provide medical evidence a refund may be made in exceptional circumstances. Please contact the graduation office for further instructions by 17th July.  We will not offer refunds after this date.

      • Will I be seated with my guests?

Graduates sit separately to their guest(s) and will be shown to their seat by a marshal. Guests with disabilities will have reserved seating provided we are notified of the request at the time of registration.

      • One of my guests has a disability – can you accommodate them?

At the time of registration you will be asked whether you have any special requirements that we should be made aware of. Please give as much information as possible and we will try and accommodate your request.

      • Can I have extra tickets and how much are they?

Extra tickets, if available, go on sale from 1pm on 23rd June until 4pm on 29th June or until they run out if this is earlier.  Extra tickets are only available to students who registered their attendance at the ceremony by the deadline of 22nd June.

      • How do I apply for extra tickets?

Full details of how to apply for extra tickets will be emailed to students who have registered by the deadline.

      • Can I get extra tickets on the day of my ceremony?

Any tickets we have left over after extra ticket sales close are available on a first come first served basis from the ticket sales desk in the Grove Atrium on the day of the ceremony only.
