21/10/2019
MDX Neuroscience student Alice Tai, who was awarded a Sports Scholarship, has high hopes for Paralympics 2020

We're delighted to announce that Alice Tai has recently been awarded a Sports Scholarship to start studying BSc Neuroscience here at Middlesex. With a strong background in swimming, Alice is a member of Ealing swimming club's performance group and is already taking the world by storm. She's set several world records at the para world cup series in Berlin (June 2019) and currently ranks number one in the world for Backstroke, Butterfly and Freestyle swimming.

Back in April, Alice broke three world records in two days during a competition in Glasgow, setting both a new personal best and world record.

Alice now has a target to compete in the Paralympics in Tokyo in 2020 and we'll all be rooting for her success!

It's amazing to see one of our students have such incredibly high aspirations and it's a pleasure to invite Alice into the #TeamMDX family, where we're always keen to showcase success stories like these and support our students with their incredible achievements.

Alice, we're so proud of you!
