Orla Hillary is Middlesex University Students’ Union Vice President of Health & Education, helping to ensure that students get the most out of their time at Middlesex University. She started at Middlesex University in 2012, studying Adult Nursing and was awarded the captain of the year accolade for two consecutive years because of her captaincy of the women’s basketball team. She was also named 2014 MDX student of the year. Orla has been elected to the National Union of Students (NUS) Society and Citizenship Zone Committee which works and campaigns on issues that affect students. As part of this committee, Orla helps to shape the work of the NUS and represents all students on a national level.
