    Library computer software

    As a current student, you have access to a wide range of free software applications to help you excel in your studies.

    You can download the software by logging into the User Console Library.

    The following software is available for free download for you to use on your own computer:

    • SPSS 21 for PC & Mac If you need help with using SPSS, try the SPSS Statistics Essential Training tutorial on Lynda.com:
      (Please note: you can only access the above link if you're logged in through myUniHub, or if you're using a computer on campus. After clicking on the link you will be asked to log into your Lynda.com profile, or create a new one)
    • Minitab 17 for PC
    • Nvivo 10 for PC
    • OxMetrics 5
    • CutePDF 2.71

    Office 365 ProPlus

    All Middlesex University students can now install Microsoft Office365 ProPlus for personal use on up to 5 PCs or Macs, 5 tablets, and 5 smartphones. View our Office365 ProPlus webpage for further information.

    Adept for Education

    Civica student website

    Civica, a provider of consulting, software and managed services to the public sector, has recently launched a dedicated online store offering discounts on the retail price of various major software brands.

    Microsoft Imagine (previously called DreamSpark)

    All students and staff can now access Microsoft Software and Development Tools (excluding Microsoft Office) through Imagine.

    You will need to create and then verify an account using your Middlesex email address to access the software catalogue.

    Students from the school of Science and Technology can also access additional software using Imagine Premium. If you are a Science and Technology student and have not received a registration email for Imagine, you will need to email the technical team at SATtechnicians@mdx.ac.uk to request a Premium account.
