Allianz Park

As a Sport Science student, you will spend much of your time at Saracens Allianz Park – a professional sporting facility that provides a real working environment to support our academic programmes.

This close and unique relationship between a professional sports club (currently rated top in the UK and Europe) and our University, gives us a niche market reputation in attracting students from all around the UK, as well as internationally.

Teaching environment

We have dedicated laboratories for studying physiology, biomechanics and performance analysis, as well as a strength training room and rehabilitation and soft-tissue massage room. You also have access to cutting-edge technologies such as motion capture, force sensing plates and full body scanning.

Social spaces

Allianz Park has spacious hospitality rooms for you to work, network or take it easy between classes.

We have also introduced the Global Food Van to provide you with great selection of food and drink such as hot-dogs, burgers and wraps as well as tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Your favourite food not there? You can send recommendations and suggestions to chartwells@mdx.ac.uk .

Additional Parking Facilities at Allianz Park

There are 150 parking bays at Allianz Park available for students. Students do not have to be permit holders, but they do need to show their Middlesex University ID Card to use the facility.

A free shuttle service will be operating during term time, check out the shuttle service schedule here.

You must follow social distancing guidelines on the bus – there is capacity for 21 passengers on each trip. However, if you have time, a morning walk through the park could be a great start to the day! You can get directions from the Hendon Campus Map.

The parking bays at Allianz Park are located in P1 Parking Zone – there will be an attendant directing traffic to the correct bays from 0745 until 1230.

The shuttle service stop is outside Gate B at Allianz Park and at a location on campus to be confirmed.

This is a temporary arrangement to run between 21 September 2020 and 21 December 2020, Monday to Friday between 0800 and 1800. The schedule is subject to traffic conditions and change.

Middlesex University working in partnership with Davian Coaches and Saracens.

Enquiries about the service should be directed in the first instance to daviancoaches@live.co.uk

Student feedback

We encourage students who study at Allianz Park to provide feedback in a number of formats. You will often be given the chance to complete surveys as part of your studies, however you can also contact your Student Voice Leaders at any time.
