RSSC Abstract Submission

Abstract requirements

Submission is now open and will close Monday 12 April 2021 at 5.00pm.

You should discuss your abstract with your supervisory team before submission, and it should meet the following requirements:

• Between 200 – 350 words
• Contain the following sections:
  • Title
  • Author(s)
  • Clearly indicate the type of contribution: (a) presentation; (b) poster; (c) performance; (d) video screening with commentary
  • Names of supervisory team
  • Degree start date
  • Stage of research where applicable (e.g. registration, transferred, writing up)
  • Department
  • Indicate that the abstract has been reviewed and approved by your supervisory team

Depending on where you are with your research, please consider including the following:

• Introduction to provide a rationale for the study
• Aim of your research
• Research methods used or planned
• Current or expected findings and contribution

If you are unable to attend the conference, you are welcome to contribute a pre-recorded presentation. Please discuss this with the supervisory team prior to submitting.

When completing the submission form, please simply add a symbol or character to the 'abstract window' and upload your abstract as an attachment.

Once your abstract is reviewed, you'll receive an email with the outcome, feedback and follow up instructions.
