Middlesex University continues to perform well in the national leagues tables and in the recent Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2015 is ranked as the second highest modern university in London with an overall position of 75.
Middlesex is performing exceptionally well in many subject areas and is the top modern university in London for Computer Science; Music; Psychology; Drama, Dance and Cinematics and is top amongst all London universities for Social Work. Middlesex is second for Law amongst modern universities in London and second for Sports Science amongst all London universities, which is also ranked in the top 25 in the UK.
In July, the Guardian put Middlesex up 17 places in its university league table. This year's improved National Student Survey results showed an 85% overall satisfaction rate and there was a 5% rise in graduate employment in the most recent Destinations of Leavers from Higher Education survey. These outcomes along with the rise in the proportion of 1sts and 2:1s from 55% in 2011/12 to 59% in 2012/13 and entry tariff increase from 250 in 2011/12 to 287 in 2012/13, all contribute to the latest league table success.
