5 reasons Summer School is right for you

    01/04/2015

Did you know Middlesex University has its own Summer School in Hendon offering a range of courses in July? You do now. But how do you know if Summer School is right for you? Here is our handy guide for when a dose of Summer School is the best medicine

    1) Make new experiences and to make new friends

Summer School is not just a place to make up credits. We have a social programme for international students which includes tuition, accommodation, meals, sports and an extensive programme of social and cultural events. This is an excellent way for you to socialise, explore London and other parts of the UK and sample British culture.

It is also a great opportunity for MDX students to interact with people from other cultures and countries and develop new friendships.

    2) Develop a skill in another area to enhance your CV

This year over 30 short courses are on offer with choices in law, psychology, counselling, business, marketing and IT. See what's right for you and open some new career paths!

    3) Take part in great events and see some great places

Free on campus events for all Summer School students! There is a busy social programme throughout the summer, with events including: a Karaoke Part, a 60's, 70's and 80's Party, jazz night and weekly off campus trips outside London to places like Stonehenge, Bath and Brighton, as well as theatre trips.

    4) If you have a credit deficit

If you have a credit deficit you can take a module to help you to progress or graduate that suits you - the length and format of the courses vary from one day to five weeks and provide course levels ranging from introductory to level 6.

    5) Learn lessons to last a lifetime

New friendships, new career paths and a thousand bright faces will make sure you won't miss the sun throughout the summer.

Come and join us and make summer 2015 one to remember!
