Middlesex University students had the chance to showcase their skills to prospective employers earlier this month during a trip to the London Job Show.
Held at Shepherds Bush's Westfield Shopping Centre, the event had some of the best-known national, regional and local employers offering thousands of jobs across dozens of skills and talents.
Students were able to gain an insight into employers' fast stream programmes, career options and how to be ready for the world of work. Middlesex University staff were also on hand to offer students help and advice on engaging with employers at the event, and link the University to many potential employers for placements.
The outing was arranged by the ME Club together with eProject team, a partnership between the University's Business School and the Employability Centre, who aim to increase students' awareness of placements, internships and employment opportunities.
Dr Jackie Jeffrey, who organised the trip, said: "This was a golden opportunity for students to get themselves known to employers and become even more employable.
"We know looking for jobs can be a daunting experience, but by attending with staff and other students, they were able to build their confidence and learn from each other, before meeting future employers.
"Work experience is incorporated into many of our courses, giving students the very best chances to gain those all-important employability skills that will help secure their dream job."
